1. Ownership of Copyright

1.1 Unless otherwise specified, all Content published by Qurina Scientific Journal (the “Content”), including but not limited to articles, figures, tables, graphics, and supplementary materials, is protected by copyright law and international intellectual property conventions.

1.2 The copyright in individual articles shall remain with the author(s), subject to the rights granted to the Journal and Publisher under this Policy.

1.3 Where QSJ publishes content under an open-access license (e.g., Creative Commons Attribution License), the terms of that license shall apply.

2. Author Rights

2.1 Authors retain the moral rights to their work, including the right of attribution and the right to the integrity of the work.

2.2 Authors grant the Journal a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

§  Publish, reproduce, distribute, and archive the work in print and electronic formats.

§  Index and disseminate the work through academic databases, repositories, and discovery services.

§  Translate the title, abstract, and metadata for purposes of global dissemination.

3. Licensing Options

3.1 Qurina Scientific Journal (QSJ) may publish content under specific licensing frameworks, including but not limited to:

§  Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY): Allows unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided proper attribution is given.

§  Other Creative Commons licenses (CC BY-NC, CC BY-ND, etc.): Where applicable, license restrictions will be clearly indicated.

3.2 The applicable license shall be specified on each published article.

4. Permissions and Reuse

4.1 Users may download, share, and use Content for personal, educational, and non-commercial purposes, subject to the license terms indicated.

4.2 Commercial reuse, adaptation, or reproduction of Content requires prior written permission from the Journal or the copyright holder, unless otherwise permitted under the applicable license.

4.3 Authors are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions for the use of copyrighted material (e.g., images, tables, or figures) included in their submissions.

5. Self-Archiving

5.1 Authors are permitted to deposit preprints, accepted manuscripts, or published versions of their work in institutional or subject repositories in accordance with the Journal’s Self-Archiving Policy.

5.2 Deposited versions must include a citation to the original publication in the Journal and, where applicable, a link to the DOI.

6. Copyright Infringement

6.1 Qurina Scientific Journal (QSJ) takes allegations of copyright infringement seriously and will investigate reported violations promptly.

6.2 Content found to infringe upon third-party copyright will be subject to correction, retraction, or removal in accordance with the Journal’s Correction and Retraction Policy.
